“Give My Regards to Broadway”

 

FUSION’s Summer Art Event has come and gone, but many wonderful memories remain.  “Give My Regards to Broadway” was a resounding success thanks to the wonderful participation of the Federal Way and Northeast Tacoma Communities.  We are very grateful to all our sponsors and donors for their generosity.  As a result, FUSION will be able to continue to serve those in our communities who are facing difficult circumstances, through our 15 transitional homes.  The proceeds from the event are used for Case Management and much needed services for those families who occupy our units.

 

From the moment one entered through the beautiful Broadway inspired Marquee and walked down the red carpet, they were delighted with the sensual sights, sounds and smells of Broadway.  The Event featured 33 local artists with a wide range of creativity from jewelry to wearable art, blown glass, wood turning and everything in between. 

Our entertainment was delightful with the “Swinging at the Sands” Band providing lively background music, Brian Soushek and Holly Rose singing Broadway tunes in the Cabaret Bar and Carol Stanley as our own “Hello Dolly” strolling the grounds.  The Metropolitan Market provided fabulous food with great flair.  The Silent and Live Auctions were filled with wonderful donated treasures.  Broadway has never been livelier!
